In the Los Santos de Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, globally renowned coffee is grown in small valleys and on the hillsides of the country’s highest mountains. Coffee from Tarrazú is renowned for its diversity of flavors, such as grapefruit and dark chocolate, and aromas such as sugar cane and jasmine.
Tarrazú, our finest coffee, is harvested by hand, washed, and sundried during the summer, when temperatures are high during the day and low in the evenings. This allows the sugars to concentrate in the ripened bean, resulting in a balanced cup with a diversity of flavor.
